Homework Mode is built to give parents oversight of YouTube use on their children's school Chromebooks without sending data anywhere it doesn't need to go. We collect: your Google account email, your subscription status, and a log of YouTube video IDs + titles that the extension evaluated on your behalf. We do not collect browsing history outside of YouTube. We never sell data. We never share data with the school district. The classification of each video is done by Anthropic's Claude API; only the video title and URL are sent — no information that could identify your child. You can export or delete your account and all associated decision logs at any time by emailing tryhomeworkmode@gmail.com.
